Interior Decor - Repurposed Shutters

Soon we will be moving into our little home. I am so excited I cannot wait. I am also scared beyond belief at this massive financial committment we have made. But it's time to grow up!
I am having so much fun imagining where all our little things will go. Pinterest has become a little dreamland for new home ideas. Of course, it will look nothing like the photos and more like an average house. But that's not the point, a girl can dream and "play house" until the one daye big dream home comes along.

I have always loved the Shabby Chic vibe for a home. And something else I am loving is repurposing old stuff for a house. My latest craze? Shutters. I have even found one large shutter and two small shutters. The challenge is to decide where I am going to use the shutters. I think the two small ones will be perfect outdoors and then the large one indoors.

Love these ideas. I didn't know you can do so much stuff and decors just by using some exterior wood shutters. I've seen a lot from thrift shops near my place. This is really beautiful!
