Old furniture

So MrB and I are sorting through our things in preparation for our move to our new place.
We have a big bed which we sold (hopefully, the transaction should conclude today), a ping pong table and a foldaway desk which are still listed on Gumtree.
We inherited a sleeper couch which MrB's parents were given a few years ago. It's one of the most uncomfortable couches I have ever come across. When you sit down, your knees are practically next to your ears. The cushions fold out to create the sleeper couch and it's lumpy, bumpy and a pain. We took as we had nothing else. But last week we acquired two 2nd hand sofas which will be perfect for our new home (and didn't break the bank).

What to do with this big bulk highly hated sleeper sofa? It's not in a great condition and it just wasn't suitable to sell. Dump it? It just didn't feel right.
A Twitter follower suggest "Barking Mad" doggie home. I contacted them straight away and they replied " YES! Please!"

So MrB and I travelled to Barking Mad this weekend and unloaded the couch.
We didn't get pictures of the dogs on the couch but trust me, they loved it!

The staff enjoyed taking it in to the doggie enclosures!
I was so happy we could donate the couch! And I think I may go and volunteer there too. Check out Barking Mad!

PS - anyone else having Blogspot problems? My pictures won't upload
