MrB and I decided from the beginning that we would never create a fuss over Valentine's Day. Instead we would use it as an excuse to eat something special. So far this has meant midnight picnics in our room after I finish work. Homemade balsamic vinegar and strawberry tarts. Heart shaped scones and many others I cna't recall.
2013 Valentine's Day is a no brainer. We would be in our new house (what more do you need!) and it's a Thursday night which means it's burger night. Easy right?
Except we won't be in our new house yet. We'll still be living with the in-laws. Back to the drawing board? In my case, the Pin Board. Some cute Valentine's foodie things are inspiration for what will be a heart-themed burger night but a little less romantic with the in-laws sitting next to us. At least we're together.
What are your Vday plans?

I haven't even thought about valentines day yet, but we'll also be dining in this year... love the potato hearts and the french toast idea - maybe my problem has just been solved!
