When we first moved into a place together it was going to be temporary (the place not the relationship!). We were on a budget (GOHS, I say this in every post!) and buying furniture for a place didn't make sense. One of my solutions to the storage problem was to paint crates and use them. They have been used as book shelves, TV cabinets, kitchen shelves and lately bedside tables. I am excited to see what the next transition will be when we move into our new house.
Here are some useful crate usages that I have found via Pinterest.

LOVe the crate idea. I think a shelf by my entry would be just the ticket!
