The day after the wedding MrB helped me put on my wedding gown, I did my hair and make up and off we went to a secluded beach for our "drown the gown" shoot.
I am so glad we did this. We were relaxed and not worried about smudging make up or hair being out of place. There were no nerves for speeches later and we could just enjoy the moment.
We ran around like children playing on the beach until the photographed reeled us in and guided us to a few poses.
My dress was a little damaged from the dancing the night before (everyone ends up stepping on your dress!) and by the end of the night we had lost a layer! Do you think this is why they make wedding dreses with so many layers? In this picture of me on the rock you can clearly see the dark edge to my dress - that's all dirt!
We were trying so desperately for a veil in the wind shot but the wind and the veil just wouldn't play along! But it's kinda fun anyway!
Can you see how tired I was? All this modelling after a big party night? Nap time but sand isn't that comfy
The icy cold wave hits me! It's cold, it was a surprise and my acting skills are terrible!
Would you do a drown the gown or a trash the dress?
